Love Our Home - Rustic Home Fundamentals

I am in love with CTMHs new Rustic Home Fundamentals papers!

Using fellow Consultant, Bren Yule's flip-flap layout she shared at this year's Convention as my basic inspiration, I created this layout, changing out the flip-flaps and photo placement, ect.

I can hardly wait for the landscaping to be done next month at our home... we only completed construction and have been living in it for the past 5 years!  lol

I am looking forward to having more grass, and less dirt lumps and weeds.  haha

Happy creating!  :)

Jesse's Q&A Mini Album

One of my friend's youngest child turned 7 last week.

He is such a cutie!

A few days before that, I came across my son's Q&A book I made for him when he was 6, and with it fresh on my mind, I asked my friend if she would like me to make one of these mini albums for her son.

She did.  :)

Using the same questions I had asked Cole so many years ago, she asked her son those questions, and using his answers, this is the mini album I made for him.

Using the leftover scraps from my (retired) CTMH Urban paper pack and Complements, I also made him this birthday card.

Thin Cuts Thank You Cards

Hi everyone!

I am back today to share with you a couple of simple cards I made using the new Thin Cuts Thanks die (from Hello & Thanks).

I wanted to show you today how easy it is to use both pieces when you use the Thin Cuts dies.

First up is the Lagoon card.  I cut the "thanks" with our new die out of a piece of White Daisy cardstock, centering it approximately 3/4 of the way down.  (I set the cut out word itself aside for my second card.)

I stamped the sentiment in black ink, and then the hearts in Lagoon ink.  I added a single Bitty Sparkle, corner rounded my corners, and used 3D foam tape to pop the White Daisy cardstock piece up on the card.

For the second card, I just cut a 1/2" strip of our new Blush Fundamentals paper for the left edge.

I added a circle with our new Raspberry Fundamentals paper, and then adhered the "thanks" on top of it.

I then stamped the sentiment with black ink.

I pulled out my Thin Cuts Hearts and used the smallest heart to cut the two heart shapes, and adhered them onto my card.

Lastly I added 3 Bitty Sparkles, and then corner rounded the two corners.

Very simple cards, yet very effective.

I will be back on Thursday with some exciting news!

Happy creating!  :)

Our Story - Convention Layout

I wanted to share with you one of the layouts we made at the CTMH Convention this year.

This is my favourite layout we got to make.

I can't seem to get the actual greenness of the new Emerald green to come through properly in my photos no matter what I try...  lol
It is really vibrant in real life.

Happy creating! :)

Supplies used are all CTMH:
Paper:  Uptown Fundamentals, Rustic Home Fundamentals; White Daisy, Emerald, Sea Glass CS

I Am Offering a Card Buffet!!!

Hi!  I am excited to tell you all that I am holding my very first Card Buffet!

It is on Wednesday, August 17th, from 7-9 pm at the Wizard's Hangout (my home studio).

Cost is $25 for all you can make, which includes envelopes.

How it works:  I have 16 different all-occasion card designs (multiples of each) pre-cut and ready in separate baskets for you to make.  You get to choose the designs you want to make, and make as many as you want, in 2 hours.

The baskets and supplies will be on the tables so everyone can start promptly at 7 pm.  Then at 9 pm I will collect the baskets and you will have a bunch of wonderful creations to take home with you.

I will have sample cards for you to work from and they will not be complicated designs.  I want this to be for everyone, no matter your crafting expertise!

I have room for 10 people, so please sign up soon!

* If you cannot make it or are not local, I am also offering kits (one of each design = 16 cards plus envelopes) for $50 plus shipping.  If you are interested in this option, please let me know.
Or place a $50 order on my website and get this kit for just $25 plus shipping.

I am super excited to have you here for a fun evening of crafting!

Note:  If this class goes well, I would like to offer a Card Buffet once a month.

(Only 15 cards are shown above, but there is a 16th, it was just hiding at photo time!  lol)

Looking forward to seeing you all!

Purr-fect Halloween - August Stamp of the Month - Adorable Sample Cards!

Okay, so I am back with some adorable samples of cards using the August Stamp of the Month set, Purr-fect Halloween!

I can't take credit on these, as they are designs from fellow CTMH Consultants, but it made it super quick for me to make cards to share here with you.

These first two are more traditional Halloween themed cards.

(Jen Rubio and Karen Pedersen's designs.)

And these next two are using the stamps in this set in a non-Halloween theme!

(Maz Wood and Jen Rubio's designs.)

Oh my, don't you just love them???

Here's a better look at them individually...
